Sharadene Fortuin is confident that she can beat Melissa Miller even if their fight is held on the moon.

Fortuin defends her South African female bantamweight title against Miller after it was declared that she shouldn’t have been declared the winner against the same boxer in August.

The fight was judged for the second time after Miller’s handlers had protested to Boxing South Africa (BSA) about its outcome. The second judging of the fight declared that Miller was robbed thus the rematch.

Now the two boxers are set to clash in Durban on Saturday, 4 December, to determine who the real boss of the division is.

“It doesn’t matter where the fight is held because I’m going to beat her again. I will make sure that no one doubts the outcome of the fight after we have fought,” Fortuin said.

Already, the former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) female bantamweight champion from Seymour in the Eastern Cape has beaten Miller twice. Their first meeting was in 2014 before they met in August this year.
