East London boxer Azinga ‘Golden Boy’ Fuzile and his trainer Mzamo ‘Chief’ Njekanye flew out of South Africa from the Cape Town International Airport to seek in the United States of America on Saturday evening.

Fuzile is scheduled to clash against Kenichi Ogawa from Japan in a vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-lightweight title fight at the Hulu Theatre, Madison Square Garden, New York City, on Saturday, 27 November (Sunday, 28 November, South African time).

“We have a mission, we have to accomplish it. I feel good, I feel nice. I’m very happy that the time for this fight is nearing,” the 25-year-old Fuzile said.

Meanwhile, Njekanye, who reunited with Fuzile earlier this year said: “There’s no going back now. We are going to war. We will see how much Ogawa prepared himself for this fight. People will also see how much we have prepared ourselves for this fight.”

This is a massive opportunity for the former South African featherweight champion as a win will take his career to another level.
