Two-time world champion Zolani ‘Last Born’ Tete wants to take care of Iddi Kayumba whose birth name is Iddi Mustafa Ally Said when they fight on Sunday.

The former International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-bantamweight and World Boxing Organisation (WBO) bantamweight champion clashes with the Tanzanian at the Booysens Boxing Gym in Johannesburg.

“I’m overwhelmed. I can’t wait to be inside the square ring. I took this fight seriously,” the 33-year-old Tete said.

Tete has not fought since his loss to Johnriel Casimero in November 2019. He now plans to get rid of Said and then work towards winning another world title.

“It’s been a while. There were talks of this fight since September,” Mdantsane-born Tete said.

Meanwhile, Tete tipped the scales at 54.50 kilograms while Said weighed 52.90kg.
