Mark Alexander was re-elected as president of the South African Rugby Union (SARU) at the organisation’s annual general meeting on Friday.

Alexander, who replaced O’Regan Hoskins in 2016, will serve another four years as a SA Rugby boss.

He retained his post after he beat Mbulelo Gidane, acting vice-president of the Eastern Province Rugby Union (EPRU), to SA Rugby’s top position.
