World Boxing Council (WBC) junior-flyweight title contender Hekkie ‘Hexecutioner’ Budler’s opponent for his next fight, which will take place on Saturday, has been changed once again.

Initially, Budler was scheduled to face off with Kitidech Hirunsuk from Thailand in a catchweight bout at the UNISA Conference Centre in Ormonde, Johannesburg.

And then his opponent was changed to Enrique Magsalin from the Philippines. The latest change is going to see Budler lacing his gloves against Thai boxer Wichet Sengprakhon in a catchweight bout.

The 35-year-old Sengprakhon, who has been stopped nine times in 11 defeats, has 14 wins (seven knockouts) and a draw. He recorded a majority draw against 18-year-old Cambodian Vichit Oat in January this year.

Budler, who turns 35 later this month, hasn’t fought since he defeated Mexican boxer Elwin Soto in an elimination bout in June last year. The clash against Sengprakhon is a keep-busy fight for Budler as he’s looking at facing WBC and World Boxing Association (WBA) junior-flyweight titlist Kenshiro ‘The Amazing’ Teraji in August.
