Bukiwe ‘Anaconda’ Nonina is set to collide with Kenyan opponent Consolata Musanga in a 10 rounds bout at Vodaworld, Midrand, on Saturday, 30 September.

This is going to be Nonina’s second fight this year having beaten Harare-based Chiedza Homakoma at the SABC in Auckland Park, Johannesburg, in May.

Nonina, an erstwhile World Boxing Federation (WBF) and South African female bantamweight titlist, is on a six-fight winning streak.

The last time Nonina from Dutywa suffered a loss was when she was defeated by Dane Sarah Mahfoud in a vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) Intercontinental female featherweight title contest in Nykoebing Falster, Denmark, in January 2019.

Meanwhile, the 36-year-old Musanga from Kakamega in Kenya last fought when she defeated Ugandan boxer Valente Aciro at the Sarita Centre in Nairobi last month.
