Acting Boxing South Africa (BSA) chief executive officer Erick Nsikayezwe Sithole is fast making a name in the business of removing ‘unwanted’ ring announcers out of the ring.

Sithole did it again as he yanked unlicensed ring announcer Noloyiso Bonga out of the ring at the Rise of Women in Boxing tournament held at the Wells Estate Multipurpose Hall in Gqeberha on Saturday afternoon.

Fight official Nkosinathi Zamela then took over as ring announcer before BSA manager in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro Nceba Dladla, a former boxer, ended up doing the job.

This is the second time that Sithole, also a BSA board member, has done something like this in less than three months.

Sithole flew all the way from Durban to Cape Town only to remove to Devon Currer from inside the ring at an Insane Boxing tournament held at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) campus in Bellville in August.
