Released by financially-challenged Moroka Swallows recently, Keegan Allan has found a new home after he joined SuperSport United on a free transfer on Tuesday evening.
Keegan joined the Dube Birds during the 2022/23 season and established himself as a trusted defender, playing in more than 30 games in the 18 months he spent at the club.
“It’s good to have a solid player like Keegan in the mix. He knows the club well and will provide valuable depth for us at a time when our injury list and suspensions was leaving us too thin at the back,” Matsatsantsa coach Gavin Hunt said.
The 22-year-old Allan, formerly with Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) side University of Pretoria, was in the Bafana Bafana squad, which played in the 2023 COSAFA Cup tournament.
