KwaZulu-Natal bright star Mxolisi Zuma continued to dish out good performances as he only took a minute and 46 seconds to stop Tanzanian boxer Shedafa John on Saturday evening.

As a result of the win over John at the Estcourt Town Hall, Zuma annexed the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) Intercontinental junior-featherweight title.

The Inanda-born Zuma, who is now based in Dundee, has a very impressive record, having stopped all his seven opponents.

On the other hand, Lindelani Sibisi stopped Iddi Mustafa Ally Said from Tanzania in the first round to win the vacant WBF Intercontinental featherweight title in the same bill.

Meanwhile, Nkosinathi Sibisi became the new South African flyweight champion after he defeated Trevor Nghonyama on points.
