A merciless Angola humiliated the Namibian Brave Warriors 5-0 in the final of the COSAFA Cup at the Nelspn Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Sunday afternoon.
The Angolans led 2-0 at half-time through goals from Pedro Francisco in the 12th minute and Laurindo Aurelio a minute before interval.
The Black Sable Antelopes were not done yet as they made it 3-0 in the 58th minute through Victor Nanque’s goal. Nine minutes later, Nanque completed his brace as the Angolans took a 4-0 lead and Keliano Manuel put the final into Namibia’s coffin in the 70th minute.
