Marumo Gallants came from behind to defeat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in a Betway Premiership match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday afternoon.
Amakhosi shot to the lead when Glody Lilepo broke the deadlock with a brilliant strike in the 10th minute.
And after making a number of attempts, Gallants finally equalised through their defender Trevor Mathiane’s goal four minutes before half-time.
Gallants led for the first time when Daniel Msendami beat Amakhosi goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma from a free kick in the 70th minute.
Meanwhile, Polokwane City and SuperSport United drew 1-1 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane with AmaZulu defeating Lamontville Golden Arrows defeated 1-0 at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammersdale.
