Filipino boxer Neel ‘No Fear’ Jacamos has arrived in KuGompo City ahead of this coming Saturday’s fight, which pits unbeaten boxers against each other as he faces Siseko ‘King Panda’ Teyisi.

Fighting for the first time outside his native country, Jacamos landed at KuGompo City’s King Phalo Airport on Monday evening. He faces Teyisi in a vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth junior-flyweight title at the Jan Smuts Stadium in KuGompo City.

Jacamos, a General Santos City resident in the Philippines, came to South Africa carrying a professional record of seven wins with one knockout. His last fight was a win over his compatriot Kurt John Pabular in a Phillipines Games and Amusements Board Youth junior-featherweight title strap in August.

On the other hand, Mdantsane-born Teyisi has stopped seven of his nine victims with Athenkosi Thongwana whom he defeated by a 12th round stoppage during a South African junior-flyweight title defence at the Orient Theatre in KuGompo City in December being his last victim.

Jacamos and Teyisi are going to face each other for the first time during a press conference at the Buffalo City Stadium in KuGompo City on Tuesday morning. – Monwabisi Jimlongo
