SUNDOWNS DEFENDER DIES IN CAR CRASH
Death has visited the South African football community after Mamelodi Sundowns Motjeka Madisha passed away early hours of Sunday morning.
He was 25.
A Sundowns legend, who is not authorised to speak on behalf of the club, confirmed that Madisha passed away after his car caught fire following a crash on Saturday night.
‘‘Sadly, this is true. I’m numb and don’t even know what to do now,’’ the Sundowns legend said.
It is believed that Madisha, who was a regular at Sundowns, was with another passenger when his car caught fire following a crash. It is also believed that Madisha died outside the burning car after he had managed to come out of it.
Madisha’s death follows less than a month after another former Sundowns defender Anele Ngcongca, who was buried in Cape Town on Thursday. Ngcongca passed away in a car crash near Mthunzini in KwaZulu/Natal.
