Kaizer Chiefs confirmed on Wednesday evening that their number one goalkeeper, Brandon Petersen, picked up a knee injury at training on Tuesday morning.
Amakhosi added that the 31-year-old Petersen from Cape Town would be out of action for four to six weeks. Petersen has played in all Chiefs matches since the season began in August.
Amakhosi have also announced that their 22-year-old midfielder, Wandile Duba, has also been ruled out for two weeks. The Piet Retief-born Duba has been sidelined by a hip and groin injury.
