Banyana Banyana were held to a goalless draw by Angola in a COSAFA Women’s Championship clash at the Madibaz Stadium in Gqeberha on Friday afternoon.
This was a physical battle between two teams that were out to bag the three points. However, none of the two sides managed to find the back of the net.
Banyana Banyana have collected four points now after they beat Malawi 2-1 in their opening match on Tuesday.
On the other hand, the Angolans have drawn their two matches. They opened with a 2-2 with Mozambique earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Malawi came from behind to beat Mozambique 3-2 in an earlier match.
