TS Galaxy have wasted no time in finding a new coach after they sacked Owen da Gama on Monday.

The Rockets have appointed German coach Sead Ramovic on a three-year contract. The 42-year-old Ramovic played for Wolfsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach in his native Germany.

“We are delighted to have secured the services of Mr Sead Ramovic as head coach of TS Galaxy Football Club,” Rockets president Tim Sukazi said.

The Rockets chopped Da Gama after they picked up only two points in five matches. They conceded seven goals in their last two games.

Meanwhile, Shaun Bartlett, who was Da Gama’s assistant, is still the Rockets’ interim coach and will be in charge when they face Sekhukhune United in a DStv Premiership match at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Saturday (15h30).
