Chippa United were held to a 2-2 by Marumo Gallants in a Betway Premiership match at the Buffalo City Stadium in East London on Saturday evening.
The visitors went ahead with Edgar Manaka’s 15th minute converted penalty, which was cancelled by Bievenu Eva Nga’s header seven minutes later.
And defender Justice Chabalala netted the Chilli Boys’ second goal in the 42nd minute to give the Gqeberha-based side a 2-1 lead at the break.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men after Masindi Confidence Nemtajela was red carded following a second bookable offence in referee’s added time.
Veteran Malawian striker Gabadinho Hellings Mhango brought parity to the proceedings when he headed past Chilli Boys goalkeeper Darren Johnson in the 55th minute.
