Lindokuhle Khuzwayo will step into the ring once again when he collides with former South African featherweight champion Jeff Magagane in Johannesburg on Saturday, 21 June.

The unbeaten Khuzwayo, who has won all his six fights with four of those victories coming from knockouts, will go to the Magagane fight on the back of a second round stoppage win over Sithembiso Maduna in Pretoria last week.

On the other hand, Magagane will be fighting for the first time since losing to Portuguese boxer Pedro Manuel Gomes in Lisbon, Portugal, in December 2023.

“There’s no turning back now. We are moving forward. I always say I want to compete internationally. This fight will tell me whether I am ready for that step or not,” Khuzwayo said.

This fight between Khuzwayo and Magagane, who lost his SA featherweight title to Zolisa Batyi in December 2022, pits inexperience and experience against each other. – Monwabisi Jimlongo
