Milford FC are the latest addition to the Premier Division clubs following their promotion from the Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) after they drew 1-1 with Magesi FC in a final PSL Promotion/Relegation play-off match played at the Seshego Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday afternoon.
Edmore Chirambadare gave Magesi the hope of remaining in top-flight when he scored from a Reagan van der Ross pass in the 14th minute. And Milford equalised through Menzi Chili’s goal off a Bhekani Mthiyane assist 14 minutes into the second half.
Milford’s promotion meant that Magesi’s two seasons in the Premiership came to an end as they were relegated to the MFC.
