Stellenbosch FC from the Cape Winelands continued to strengthen their squad as they captured Terrence Mashego on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday morning.
“Terrence is a player, who has competed at the highest level on both the domestic and international stages. We believe he has the ability and quality to add significant value to our squad. We are delighted to welcome him to the club,” Stellies chief executive officer Rob Benadie said.
The 28-year-old Mashego joined Stellies after he spent ladt season on loan to Durban City. He was part of the City squad, which won the Nedbank Cup trophy.
Meanwhile, Stellies have also signed 28-year-old former Moroka Swallows and Sanjoanense midfielder George Matlou, who was released by Kaizer Chiefs last month.
