Renovations at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha and KuGompo City’s Buffalo City Stadium have forced Chippa United to take their first home match elsewhere.
The Chilli Boys have taken their home match against Betway Premiership champions Orlando Pirates to King’s Park Stadium in Durban on Sunday, 16 August.
This is going to be the first time in many years that top-flight football returns to the Durban venue.
Meanwhile, the Chilli Boys open the 2026/7 season with an away clash against Lamontville Golden Arrows at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban, this coming Saturday.
