Moroka Swallows came from behind to force a 2-2 draw with Mamelodi Sundowns in a DStv Premiership match at the Dobsonville Stadium, Soweto, on Monday evening.
The Brazilians shot to the lead when Teboho Mokoena’s thunderbolt beat Swallows goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi in the 36th minute.
Six minutes into the second half, Chilean Marcel Allende doubled the Tshwane giants’ lead with a grass cutter, which took a deflection on Kwandakwensizwa Mngonyama’s hand before kissing the back of the net.
The Dube Birds cut the deficit through Augustine Mahlonoko in the 56th minute. And Malawian Gabadinho Mhango equalised five minutes before full-time.
