Playing through the pain of losing a teammate in Motjeka Madisha, who
passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, Mamelodi Sundowns
players gave their all and ensured that their winning streak continued
as they beat TS Galaxy 2-0 in a DStv Premiership encounter at Loftus
Versfeld in Pretoria on Tuesday night.
Peter Shalulile, who was signed from Highlands Park, and Themba Zwane
proved once again that they are indeed match winners as they scored
for the Brazilians.
That was Shalulile’s fourth goal this season while Zwane, who won the
Man-of-the-Match award, has scored seven goals in seven matches.
The 25-year-old Madisha passed away following an accident where his
car caught fire after it had hit a pole in wet conditions.
The Brazilians have won five times and drawn twice collecting 17
points in the process.
Meanwhile, SuperSport United added more woes to Kaizer Chiefs as they
beat them 2-1 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.
Bradley Grobler and Sipho Mbule scored for Matsatsantsa a Pitori while
Lebogang Manyama netted for Amakhosi.
